About Diagrama Community Services
Diagrama Community Services deliver Day Opportunities in West Sussex at our 100-acre Duckyls Farm, near East Grinstead.
This site provides a choice of opportunities and activities to adults with learning disabilities, supporting individuals to develop skills that promote independence, healthy living and access to employment.

What We Do
Diagrama provides a choice of meaningful, enjoyable occupational opportunities and activities from its beautiful 100 acre farm site near East Grinstead, for adults to develop skills living skills which will promote independence and skills that could transfer to an employment opportunity.

Join The Team
Are you passionate about farming and working with animals - and want to make a real difference in people’s lives?
We’re looking for a Care Farm & Community Instructor with farming or livestock experience who’s ready to share their skills with adults with learning disabilities at our farm near East Grinstead.
- Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
- Based on-site at Duckyls Farm
- Full driving license required
As a Care Farm and Community Instructor, you'll support individuals to grow in independence, confidence, and practical skills - especially in animal care, but also in gardening, life skills, and farm maintenance.If you’re kind, patient, hands-on, and have a passion for people and animals, we’d love to hear from you.
- Experience with livestock, animal care, or farming
- Interest in sharing knowledge and supporting others
- Bonus if you have experience with basic life skills and gardening (or willing to learn!)

What’s important to know about our support
We are passionate about providing the best possible support for the people we have the privilege to work with. We aim to improve lives through a person-centred approach. Our service model supports people to do as much as possible for themselves and live meaningful, enjoyable lives. We build on service users’ strengths and capabilities and have worked with other organisations to refine our ways of supporting people, including with Montessori experts in disability and dementia care.
We believe everyone deserves to have a voice in the service – including family members. We welcome your insight and are looking forward to working together with you as one united team.

The management of the West Sussex Day Opportunities, Hub and Outreach Support was awarded to Diagrama in 2024.

Our day services in West Sussex open up a new set of choices for adults with learning disabilities in the county and we know that our 100 acre farm will be a fantastic skills enhancing environment for anyone to spend time in, alongside the valuable experiences offered at the community centres. For this contract, we will work in partnership with Signposts who will continue to provide the Hub and Outreach services in Mid Sussex. We look forward to welcoming new Service Users and them being involved in the future development of our farm and day opportunities services."

In Mid Sussex, we work in partnership with Signposts. Signposts provide the Hub and Outreach Support service in East Grinstead during the week, offering information, advice, flexible support, activities, learning and social opportunities.
